Community Guidelines & Safety Policy

Welcome to StudyLivo.

This Community Guidelines & Safety Policy (“Policy”) explains the rules that apply when you use the StudyLivo website, application, study rooms, community features, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using the Platform, you agree to follow this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Purpose

StudyLivo is a learning and study platform. The community exists to help users study, collaborate, and stay focused.

These rules are intended to protect users, keep study spaces safe, and prevent abuse of the Platform.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to anyone who:

• Creates an account;
• Joins a study room;
• Posts, messages, or otherwise participates in community features;
• Uploads or streams content; or
• Otherwise uses the Platform.

3. Core Community Standards

You agree to use the Platform:

• Lawfully;
• Respectfully;
• For its intended study and learning purposes;
• Without interfering with other users;
• Without attempting to compromise Platform security; and
• In accordance with this Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

4. Prohibited Content

You must not submit, display, stream, or share content that:

• Violates applicable law;
• Infringes another person's rights;
• Contains prohibited sexual or exploitative material;
• Harasses, threatens, or abuses another person;
• Contains malicious software;
• Promotes fraud, scams, or illegal activity; or
• Otherwise violates this Policy or our Terms & Conditions.

We may remove or restrict content that violates our rules or applicable law.

5. Sexual and Exploitative Activity

The Platform is a study environment. Sexual activity, sexually explicit content, and exploitative conduct are prohibited.

You must not use the Platform to:

• Share, stream, or request sexually explicit material;
• Engage in sexual activity or sexually suggestive conduct in study rooms or community spaces;
• Solicit sexual content or sexual contact;
• Share intimate images of another person without authorization; or
• Engage in any sexual or exploitative activity involving minors. This is strictly prohibited and may be reported to authorities.

Serious violations in this category may result in immediate permanent account termination and placement on the permanent blacklist.

6. Harassment, Threats, and Abuse

You must not:

• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users;
• Threaten violence or harm;
• Target a person with abuse, slurs, or degrading content;
• Dox or share another person's private information without authorization;
• Stalk, repeatedly contact, or attempt to evade a user's blocks or restrictions; or
• Coordinate attacks against another user or group of users.

7. Fraud, Security, and Platform Abuse

You must not:

• Conduct fraudulent activities;
• Distribute malware;
• Attempt unauthorized access;
• Attack or disrupt Platform infrastructure;
• Circumvent security controls;
• Abuse automated systems;
• Exploit the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes; or
• Circumvent an account suspension or permanent termination.

8. Reporting Safety Concerns

If you believe a user, room, or piece of content violates this Policy, you may report it through available in-product reporting tools or by contacting us.

We may review reports, request additional information, and take action we reasonably consider appropriate.

9. Enforcement

When we reasonably believe this Policy, our Terms, or applicable law has been violated, we may:

• Remove or restrict content;
• Issue a warning;
• Temporarily restrict or suspend an account;
• Remove a user from a study room;
• Limit access to certain features; or
• Permanently terminate an account and add the user to the permanent blacklist.

The action taken may depend on the severity of the conduct, prior history, risk to other users, and applicable law.

10. Account Suspension

We may temporarily restrict or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate a serious violation, prevent abuse, or enforce this Policy.

A suspended user must not create another account for the purpose of bypassing the suspension.

11. Permanent Termination and Blacklist

Serious violations may result in immediate permanent account termination.

A permanently terminated account may be placed on a permanent blacklist. A blacklisted user:

• Loses access to the terminated account;
• Must not create another account for the purpose of bypassing the termination;
• May be prevented from registering, joining study rooms, or using Platform services; and
• May have related accounts restricted where reasonably necessary to enforce the blacklist.

We may use reasonably available information to detect and prevent blacklist circumvention, including repeat-account creation intended to evade enforcement.

Permanent termination and blacklisting may be used where reasonably necessary to:

• Protect users;
• Protect the Platform;
• Investigate or stop serious violations;
• Prevent fraud or abuse;
• Comply with applicable law; or
• Enforce this Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

12. Circumvention Is Prohibited

You must not attempt to evade enforcement, including by creating new accounts, using another person's account, or otherwise circumventing a suspension, permanent termination, or blacklist.

Circumvention itself is a serious violation and may result in further enforcement.

13. Relationship to Other Policies

This Policy supplements our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If this Policy conflicts with the Terms on a community-conduct issue, this Policy explains the community standard we apply.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, we may notify users through the Platform, email, or another reasonable method.

The updated Policy will become effective on the stated effective date.
