Frequently asked questions
What is StudyLivo?
StudyLivo is a free web app for studying together online in live virtual study rooms. You pick a room style — Deep Work, 25/5 Pomodoro, Silent Study, or Night Owls — sign in, and start a focus session with live peer presence, timers, and room chat. It runs in your browser with no download.
Is StudyLivo free?
Yes. Joining and studying in StudyLivo's virtual study rooms is free and runs in your browser with no download. An account is required so your rooms, streaks, and progress stay with you. If paid options are ever introduced, they will be described in the Terms before anything changes.
Do I need to turn my camera on?
No. Camera is optional — you control it from room controls. Sessions are camera-first presence.
